Free symbol card widget for your website

The symbol card widget shows one instrument in a compact card: last price, daily change and market session state. It is made for an article about a company, a coin or a currency pair, where the reader needs the current price next to the text. Build one card per instrument below and paste it into the article body or a sidebar.

How to put a price card into an article

Plain HTML

Paste the snippet where the card belongs in the article markup, for example after the first paragraph that mentions the instrument. For several instruments, paste several snippets: each card is a separate frame 196 pixels high.

WordPress

While editing a post, add a Custom HTML block between paragraphs, paste the card code and preview it. To reuse one card across many posts, save the block as a synced pattern and insert that pattern instead.

Tilda and Webflow

In a Tilda article, add a T123 HTML block between text blocks. In Webflow CMS articles, put an Embed element into the template or, for a card inside the text itself, use the custom code option of the Rich Text element.

About the symbol card widget

The symbol card is the smallest of the five widgets: a single instrument with its last price, daily change and market session state. It fits in a sidebar, in the middle of an article, or next to a product block, and it is the quickest way to add a crypto price widget or a single stock quote to a page.

Pick any instrument from the catalog above - the search covers every symbol in the feed, from US stocks and indices to forex pairs, metals and crypto. Set the theme, background and accent so the card sits in your layout rather than on top of it, then copy the snippet.

The card sizes itself to the container by default, or you can pin an exact width and height. Data for stocks, indices, commodities and bonds on the free tier is 15 minutes delayed, with a note on the card itself; crypto, forex and metals are live.

Where it fits

  • An article about one company, with its share price shown inline.
  • Product and pricing pages tied to a single instrument.
  • Sidebar blocks in a blog or news template.
  • Landing pages for a single market or trading instrument.

Symbol card widget: questions

Can one symbol card show several instruments?

One symbol card shows exactly one instrument; for several, place several cards side by side. Each card is its own snippet and refreshes about every 15 seconds on Free.

How is a delayed price marked on the card?

A card for a stock, index, commodity or bond carries a "Delayed 15 min" label on Free, because these exchange prices are shown 15 minutes late. Cards for crypto, forex and metals have no label and show real-time prices. On Pro every card is real time.

Does a card in an iframe help the article rank?

No, the price in a free symbol card does not count as text of your article: it is rendered in an iframe, which search engines index separately or not at all. Write the instrument name and the context in the article itself. With Pro the card is native HTML in your page.

Can I use the card without the FinaQuotes credit?

A symbol card without the by FinaQuotes credit is available only on Pro. On Free the credit line is part of the card and must stay visible.

Need it native, in your brand?

The free widget is the shared build. On a paid plan the same data arrives without the 15-minute delay and without our attribution line, rendered natively in your own components and palette. We fit it to your design and install it for you.
