FinaQuotes vs TradingView widgets: an alternative without the attribution

FinaQuotes is an alternative to TradingView widgets for sites that want live quotes without a third-party credit. TradingView’s free widgets are rich in charts and coverage, cost nothing and carry TradingView attribution. FinaQuotes Free is also free and also carries a credit line. FinaQuotes Pro removes it, renders natively without an iframe, shows every asset class in real time and follows your brand.

Build a free widget

The short answer

If you run a blog or a media site and a TradingView credit does not bother you, TradingView widgets are hard to beat on charting and breadth. If you are a broker, a prop firm or a trading platform and the prices on your site must carry only your brand, FinaQuotes Pro is built for that case. FinaQuotes Free sits in between: five widgets from a builder with no account, a small credit line and real time on crypto, forex and metals.

Side-by-side comparison

Only general, checkable traits are listed. Where the answer depends on the provider’s current terms or on the market, the table says so.

When TradingView is the better choice

There are plenty of cases where TradingView widgets are simply the right tool, and we would rather say so.

  • You need advanced interactive charts with indicators, drawing tools and many timeframes on the page. We do not make a full charting widget.
  • You want widget types we do not offer, such as screeners, heatmaps or an economic calendar.
  • You want broad global coverage at no cost, and a TradingView credit next to your content does not hurt your brand.
  • Your readers already use TradingView and expect its interface.

When FinaQuotes fits better

  • Your brand only. The site belongs to a broker, a prop firm or a platform, and a third-party logo with a link out is not acceptable. Pro carries no credit at all.
  • Native embedding. Pro widgets are part of your markup: they use your CSS and are indexed with the page, instead of sitting in a separate document.
  • One source for site and platform. Widgets on the site and the feed in your platform come from the same FinaQuotes data, so the price on a landing page matches the price in the terminal. See market data for brokers.
  • Real time on exchange-traded instruments. Pro shows stocks, indices, commodities and bonds in real time, with the interface refreshed every 5 seconds.
  • A team behind it. Pro is installed by our team and supported through one contact, rather than copied from a gallery.

More on the brand side of this decision is on the white-label page.

Which FinaQuotes widget replaces which

Most quote widgets have a direct counterpart. Each link opens the free builder, where you can check the result before replacing anything.

How to replace TradingView widgets

For the free edition, replacing a widget takes a few minutes per page. For Pro, our team does the installation.

  1. List what you use

Go through the pages with TradingView widgets and note the type and instruments of each one, using the table above.

  2. Build the counterpart

Open the matching builder on our widgets page, pick up to 30 instruments, choose a theme and accent, and copy the iframe code.

  3. Swap the embed code

Remove the TradingView script block and paste ours in the same place. Check the height on mobile and desktop.

  4. Go Pro if the credit matters

If you need no credit line, real time on stocks or your own styling, request Pro. We install native widgets with your developers.

Questions about switching

Can I remove the TradingView logo from its free widgets?

Not under the free terms as TradingView presents them: the attribution is a condition of using the free widgets. Check TradingView’s current terms for its own options. If you need quote widgets with no credit at all, that is what FinaQuotes Pro is for.

Is there a free alternative to TradingView widgets?

Yes, FinaQuotes Free. It offers five quote widgets from a builder with no account, up to 30 instruments per widget and a small "by FinaQuotes" line. Crypto, forex and metals are real time; stocks, indices, commodities and bonds are delayed by 15 minutes. Start on the widgets page.

Do FinaQuotes widgets show real-time stock prices?

Pro widgets do, Free widgets show stocks with a 15 minute delay. International stocks come with a delay of about 15 minutes in both editions. Crypto, forex and metals are real time everywhere.

Can I use TradingView and FinaQuotes widgets on the same site?

Yes. A common setup is a TradingView advanced chart on an analysis page and FinaQuotes quote widgets elsewhere. Keep in mind that two providers can show slightly different prices for the same instrument.
